MONSTERS IN THE MOVIES!
A new year and a new impetus to start blogging again. Inspired by John Landis’ excellent new pictorial history of horror and fantasy creations - Monsters In The Movies: 100 Years Of Cinematic Nightmares - I intend to undertake an exhaustive (we’ll see!) series of posts using the same categories and sub-genres listed in the book (vampires, zombies, ghosts etc etc). Along the way I hope to discover some new cinematic gems, finally get round to watching films I meant to see long ago, and highlight my own favourites in the fantastic world of horror and fantasy cinema.
Take a seat, dim the lights and enjoy! But remember, to avoid fainting keep telling yourself – it’s only a movie, it’s only a movie …
